This document contains the privacy practices for the Heart Gallery of New Jersey web sites (collectively, the "Site"). The Site is owned and operated by Heart Gallery of New Jersey, Inc. ("Heart Gallery"). We at the Heart Gallery take your privacy seriously. The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to inform you about how and why we collect and use particular information and how your privacy is protected.
THE SITE CONTAINS LINKS TO FACILITATE USER ACCESS TO EXTERNAL OR THIRD-PARTY SITES, NONE OF WHICH ARE CONTROLLED OR OFFERED BY THE HEART GALLERY. THEREFORE, THIRD PARTY SITES LINKED FROM THIS SITE ARE NOT SUBJECT TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR REVIEWING THE PRIVACY POLICIES OF ANY LINKED THIRD-PARTY SITES TO DETERMINE HOW YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION WILL BE COLLECTED, UTILIZED, AND PROTECTED BY SUCH THIRD-PARTY SITES. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, your sole recourse is to not use the Site. The Heart Gallery reserves the right to amend this Privacy Policy at any time by posting such changes on the Site.

If you choose to contact us, or if you request further information or periodic updates about the Heart Gallery, we will request your email address and State of residence or street address to respond to your request, and to provide such information and updates. If you wish to be removed at any time from our email update list, please send an email to info@heartgallerynj.com with the word "remove" in the subject field.
Information Collected through Forms on the Site:
If you fill out a volunteer or other form, including any form that will generate and automatically send us an e-mail through the Site, we will ask for your email address, and we may also ask for other information, including your phone number and home address. Such information may be used to contact you in response to your submission, to coordinate volunteer efforts, or to send you information and updates about the Heart Gallery and our programs. If you wish to be removed at any time from our email update list, please send an email to info@heartgallerynj.com with the word "remove" in the subject field.
Information Collected by Paypal:
If you make a donation to the Heart Gallery using PayPayl's online payment system, PayPal asks you to provide certain information which will be stored and processed by PayPal as necessary to complete your transaction and in accordance with PayPal's Privacy Policy, which states that PayPal will offer you the opportunity to correct your information or opt-out of uses of your contact information and will not send you any marketing or commercial materials as a result of your donation to the Heart Gallery (except at your request or in connection with your PayPal membership). Information that you provide to PayPal will also be forwarded in a notification or report to the Heart Gallery. However, NO credit card numbers or checking account numbers provided to PayPal will be provided to Heart Gallery. Any further questions about PayPal are probably best answered by the information on the PayPal website, and we urge you to review PayPal's Privacy Policy regarding collection and use of personal information by PayPal.
Site Usage Information:
We also collect aggregate tracking information derived mainly from tallying page views throughout the Site, enabling us to review your activity on the Site in anonymous or aggregated form.
IP Addresses:
Our web server automatically recognizes and collects the domain name and IP address of visitors to the Site.
PRECAUTIONS FOR CHILDREN
The Heart Gallery does not attempt to collect personal information from children. Use of the Site by children with parental consent and supervision (permitted under the Terms of Use ) does not require disclosure of any personal information about the child, and the Heart Gallery does not wish or intend for any child to provide personally identifiable data to the Heart Gallery through use of the Site. We cannot always determine which information originates with a child user. If a child sends personal information to us, and this information can be identified as originating from a child, the information will be deleted.
Information on the Site about children who are available for adoption is provided with the consent of the Division of Youth and Family Services ("DYFS") and may be used solely for adoption consideration purposes.
PROTECTION OF INFORMATION
The Heart Gallery exerts reasonable efforts to protect personal information received from Site users against unauthorized use or disclosure. We do not provide public access to personally identifiable user information collected from Site users.
USE OF INFORMATION
Email addresses and other information provided by users of the Site will be used to respond to your request and to provide requested information and updates about the Heart Gallery and its programs. If you wish to be removed at any time from our email update list, please send an email to info@heartgallerynj.com with the word "remove" in the subject field. The Heart Gallery strictly enforces e-mail privacy, and e-mail addresses are not sold, leased or bartered to or with any third parties. Site-tracking and usage information we collect is used to improve the Site and the Heart Gallery's services.
DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION
Sharing with Affiliated Organizations and Vendors:
Organizations other than the Heart Gallery may be engaged by the Heart Gallery to perform a variety of functions, including providing technical and hosting services for the Site. These organizations may have access to information you provided if necessary to perform such functions; however, they may only use such personal information for the purpose of performing that function and may not use it for any other purpose.
Sharing with the New Jersey Department of Youth and Family Services:
Because this Site features children in the care of the New Jersey Department of Youth and Family Services ("DYFS"), the Heart Gallery may choose, in its sole discretion, to disclose to DYFS information collected at this Site. For that reason, any information provided to or collected on this Site may be shared with DYFS at the Heart Gallery's discretion.
Sharing with Third Parties:
The Heart Gallery may disclose user personal information provided on the Site as reasonably necessary to respond to or implement the user's request, including following up on the submission of a volunteer form. Other than as provided above, the Heart Gallery does not disclose user personal information provided on the Site to third parties unless we reasonably believe that the law requires it, that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, the rights of another user or person, or to prevent harm. We reserve the right to disclose any personal information as reasonably necessary, in our judgment, to protect Heart Gallery or its assets or to comply with law or with appropriate requests or directions made by law enforcement, government agencies or any court.
